Effective communication is about warmth, authenticity and emotion. We don’t tend to worry about whether we’ll run out of things to say or how we’ll get from one subject to another when we’re chatting to friends or family. Communicating effectively at work involves bringing the same ease and spontaneity in less natural situations, when there is a message to deliver or nerves can get in the way.

I’ve honed these skills presenting news and business programmes for the last thirty years. Now I share techniques I’ve learned in the studio with business leaders, offering presentation coaching to take communication with colleagues and customers to the next level. In the last few weeks, I’ve been working with leaders at NFU Mutual.

“Andrew shared valuable insights into what makes a great presenter - capturing attention, keeping audiences engaged and leaving them feeling inspired. But what truly resonated with me was his emphasis on two things: "Back yourself" and "Be authentic". Andrew’s warmth and encouragement were deeply appreciated.”
